During her years in Texas, Lori honed her operational excellence — developing systems for scale, managing multimillion-dollar inventories, and building strong partnerships with custom home builders, luxury developers, and national real estate brands. Her commitment to quality, speed, and client satisfaction earned her a reputation for not just styling homes, but for helping sell them — faster, and for more.

Salt + Slate Interiors is the culmination of a full-circle journey — from California’s coastal beginnings to Texas’ booming design scene and back again. Raised along the California coast, Lori Carlisle developed an early eye for balance, natural texture, and effortless style — the hallmarks of California living. When her career took her to Dallas, Lori quickly rose to become President of one of Texas’ most respected staging and interiors firms, leading hundreds of successful home installations and elevating the company into a recognized regional powerhouse.​

Now back home in Southern California, Lori brings that same energy and experience to the market she knows best. Under her leadership, Salt + Slate Interiors partners with builders, developers, realtors, and design-forward homeowners across Orange and San Diego Counties, offering a seamless process that combines artistry, logistics, and results. From luxury spec homes and sales models to custom estates and architectural showpieces, every project is designed with intention and executed with precision.
